Peptosyl is an aid in the treatment of gastrointestinal and diarrhoea in dogs and horses.

Peptosyl is a non-antibiotic liquid which may be used to aid in the treatment of dietary and non-infectious diarrhoa. This liquid is indicated for the control and treatment of diarrhoea and pain, associated with non-bacterial disturbances including enteritis, colitis, and gastritis. With a wide safety margin, Peptosyl is effective as a first line of defence, and has analgesic, antiseptic, and antacid properties. With Bismuth salicylate, this liquid lines and protects the mucosal lining of the gut, and absorbs toxic compounds. Salicylate is anti-inflammatory and can help reduce pain associated with gastrointestinal inflammation.

  • Non-antibiotic liquid for use in dietary or non-infectious diarrhoea
  • Contains Bismuth salicylate, which lines the gut and has anti-inflammatory properties
  • Can be used in horses, foals, and dogs
