Product Descriptions

Food for Thought - Clarity, Focus, Digestion Lions Mane mushrooms, also known as Hou Tou Gu in Chinese medicine, is associated with cognition, focus, concentration, and memorys. This distinctive looking mushroom has also been celebrated for aiding the immune system and digestive disturbances for centuries.

The quality of our raw materials is critical, and we ensure we consistently use the very best Lions Mane that have been ethically and sustainably sourced from organic farms in Gutian County, Fujian Province. We have full traceability to where the mushrooms are grown and harvested from December to March, fully appreciating their smell, taste, colour and texture.

The certified Organic Lions Mane we produce adhere to the highest levels of raw material quality, are lab tested (authentication and comparative profiling) and guaranteed to contain beneficial bioactive components.

Importantly, we use no fillers or excipients. Our blends are manufactured using a patented membrane filtration process to preserve maximum level of active components from the mushrooms; it also allows the liquid concentrate to be spray-dried without using a carrier. Other mushroom extract powders in the market typically contain a high percentage of carrier (maltodextrin, starch).

We use 100% fruiting bodies which have the highest level and variety of polysaccharides, triterpenes, and phenolic compounds. To maximise the polysaccharides (β-glucans) we use the traditional hardwood growing method. We take a full spectrum approach to crafting our mushroom extract powders. We carefully blend extract and whole mushroom to provide the balanced complexity of all the available active chemical compounds.

Each serve of the Lions Mane gives the equivalent to 4.3g dry mushroom per serve.
