For us elderly, forgetful, Type 2 diabetics, this model is an absolute treasure. Why?
1. The meter calculates the dosage based on a a combination of preset data that matches your profile, plus your latest Blood Glucose reading. Magic, & fool proof!
2. You can connect it your PC to create a detailed report of your highs, lows, etc., for the past week, month, or even 6 months, You can export this as a PDF & send it to your support practitioner, who can decide whether the presets need to be changed, given your record of levels at various times of the day.
3. It produces diagnostics of possible causes of problems that can also be printed out for investigation
4. It is small, quick & easy to use, with a small sample size, & a 5 second result.
I've purchased this one as a spare, in case mine stops working for some reason. I don't want to have to go back to one of the dumber meters out there, just because my favorite had decided to give up on me.
